Beverley Anderson

Beverley was born in the old Wiluna Hospital (now the Canning-Gunbarrel Discovery Centre and Tjukurba Art Gallery) in 1969. She attended Primary School in Wiluna and secondary school in Kalgoorlie. On returning to Wiluna, after being engaged in office work, she became a co-ordinator of care at the Aboriginal Medical Service, and she is currently employed as an Education Officer at the Wiluna Remote School. Beverley sells her work through the Tjukurba Gallery. Her early paintings generally depicted bush tucker, however more recently she has explored the theme of town maps, rendering her country in an individual and interesting manner.
