Regina Ashwin

Regina was born in Perth and has since spent her life in Wiluna and was educated at Wiluna and Karalundi Mission. Regina comes from a family of painters, her Mother and Grandmother are artists and Regina, a mother of four children, has been a regular successful exhibitor at the Tjukurba Gallery. Her paintings are distinctive, depicting her knowledge in a rich illustrative style. She has had the honour of one of her larger works being chosen to be presented to the previous Govenor General, Major-General Sir Michael Jeffrey, on his retirement as a gift from the people of Australia.
